The largest training programme of its kind, the “Global Program for the Empowerment of Young Media Persons,” will be conducted during the inaugural Global Media Congress (GMC), which is scheduled to take place from November 15 to 17, 2022. The GMC is organised by the ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The more than two dozen seminars at the Congress will give young writers in-depth instruction in a variety of skills and vocations, including fact-checking, metaverse, script writing, battling disinformation, audio content production, and a lot of other crucial topics.
Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of WAM and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for GMC, commented on his organization’s choice to fly in a sizable number of young journalists with three to five years of professional experience to attend the event, explaining that it was intended to educate the following generation of media professionals on the most recent technological and innovative advancements in the field of media.
The most crucial methods and abilities needed by young people seeking a promising career in the media sector will be covered in our about 30 sessions, he added. The Congress is a world-class platform where buyers and sellers can meet, learn, network, do business, and explore new products, solutions, and technologies. With over 150 brands specialised in the media and production industry participating, the Congress offers an unmissable opportunity to take a significant step forward in the region’s and the world’s media sector.
The Global Media Congress will feature the first conference of its type in the Middle East with the topic “Shaping the Future of the Media Industry” as part of the event’s schedule.
