His Highness, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, confirmed on Wednesday while sharing the motto of UAE, that the UAE plays a significant role in tackling important concerns at the regional and international levels.
According to Vice President, the UAE places a high priority on promoting women’s empowerment, maintaining peace, providing humanitarian aid, addressing global health crises in a spirit of solidarity, utilizing the potential of innovation and cutting-edge technology, and developing the global system to combat extremism and terrorism.
In his speech at the 31st Arab League Summit in Algeria, Sheikh Mohammed mentioned the motto of UAE and said, “The choice of the UAE is to propagate the slogan ‘peace, recovery, and prosperity based on the rules of international law and cooperation in the fields of economy, sustainable development, advanced technology, and scientific research, and to overcome challenges and confront existing threats.”
He also added that we urgently need to step up our efforts, speed up Arab coordination and cooperation, and resolve issues in the area in order to disseminate hope, optimism, unity, peace, and tolerance in the face of the region’s enormous challenges. Since the time of the nation’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his founding brothers, these values have served as the cornerstone of the UAE’s strategy.
He said there is no doubt that climate change has become a priority for all, as it has become an existential threat that requires everyone to work quickly towards a carbon-free future.
