President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan condoles Erdogan for mine explosion casualties. His Highness made a phone call to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, in which he expressed his deepest sympathies for the victims of the mine explosion in the northern state of Barton, which left dozens of people dead and injured.
Sheikh Mohamed extended the UAE’s solidarity with the Turkish government and people, asking Allah Almighty to provide the bereaved families time, comfort, and quick healing for the injured. The tragic incident happened in the northern state of Bartn, where the workers in a mine lost their lives in an explosion. At least 41 persons died in the blast.
President Erdogan highly appreciated Sheikh Mohamed’s kind words, underlining the strong links between the two nations, thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his heartfelt sympathies, and wished the UAE and its people ongoing success and happiness.
“Our priority was to find the miners in the gallery. We finally reached the last one. He also died, bringing the number of deaths to 41,” Erdogan revealed the discovery of the final missing victim, bringing the total death toll to 41 while touring the accident site on Saturday afternoon.
Highlighting the strong relations between the two nations, Erdoan thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his deepest condolences and wished the UAE and its people ongoing success and happiness.
