Raids have always played a key role in World of Warcraft, as in any MMO RPG.
Dungeons are a challenging challenge for large groups of players that require a high level of chemistry and equipment to take on strong bosses and their retinues on equal terms.
Raiding is always a great opportunity to put aside the need to craft your own equipment and get it for defeating one of the difficult bosses, but there are nuances here – you must have good enough equipment to be useful – exceptions, supports, and healers, but not tanks and attackers classes.
Previously, in order to get high-level equipment of epic or legendary quality, you had to go to a raid of mythic difficulty, since this is where you get ready-made equipment, which often cannot be obtained in another way.
Now the situation has changed a little due to the appearance of the order table and the processing of the professional system with the possibility of in-depth study of specialization and strengthening the quality of the materials produced.
What is a raid
A raid is a dungeon of various difficulty levels for a large group of players in which you need to enter dangerous territory and fight several types of monsters and the head of the dungeon to receive special rewards in the form of equipment and weapons, jewelry and experience.
Raid Difficulty Difference
The higher the difficulty level of the raid, the better the reward and the stronger the boss himself, as well as the minimum requirement for equipment to enter, and without the requested equipment, you simply will not get admission.
With a change in the difficulty level, all three bosses that live in the dungeon will increase their overall health and armor, increase their attack and drastically change their behavior in battle, and even strengths and weaknesses can change, and deadly skills can be used faster.
New updates – new raids
Every time Blizzard releases a new update for World of Warcraft, they add new raids, which often appear within a month, so that players with different hero development speeds have a chance to speed up their leveling and be ready for new challenges. This is also done to give players time to master the patch itself and not overload gamers with too much information. Important events such as new raids affect the balance of power of one of the factions, who will be the first to acquire new equipment and weapons.
New raid – Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
With each release of a new major expansion for some time, the developers begin a phased implementation of a new raid, releasing all four difficulty levels in a strictly planned time frame, so that players can gradually try all the easy parts and gradually move on to the mythic difficulty level, in which you need to know literally every stone to win.
You can already get acquainted with the new raid, or order Aberrus, The Shadowed Crucible Boost from the professional Skycoach service, which will help you master the raid and get all the most valuable items and does not share experience and drops with other players and does not risk a fail when playing with random players.
Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible – release schedule for all stages of the raid
On May 9, three bosses will become available to players – Kazzara, Confluence Chamber, and Forgotten Experiments in Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Raid difficulty. Players will have access to the “find a raid” difficulty.
May 23 – Exactly two weeks later, players will receive the continuation of the raid and access to the next group of bosses – Zakali’s Assault, Rashok the Elder and Xskarn.
June 6 – The third part of the new raid comes into effect and players will have access to two new bosses – Magmorax and Neltharion’s Echo.
On June 20, the final stage comes out and players will see the last and most ferocious boss of all the representatives of the new raid – Scalecommander Sarkaret.
The subtleties of the new raids
Almost every time a new raid enters the world of WoW, players need time to complete it for the first time, and many attempts end in failure.
There are several reasons for this:
Players try to take on a new raid with a swoop – using the accumulated equipment and tactics from previous updates, although the first thing the developers always do is analyze the difficulty level and take into account the experience gained in future updates and raids. Blizzard’s goal is to create a raid that will bring maximum value and interest and strike a balance between difficult, but possibly not worth the effort. Each time, players storm a new zone for days until the first victory appears, and with it an understanding of the main tactics and composition of the group, which other players will rely on.
Players learn little about the mechanics of the newly released raid, although the normal difficulty mode always serves not as a source of improved equipment (although this too) but as a full-fledged guide to increasing the level of difficulty and understanding at the mechanic level of everything that you will encounter. Of course, the bosses will be different, as will the type of their attacks and the sneaky skills they will use, but if you study the game map and the potential boss skills that will be available in a timely manner, you can already avoid a lot of mistakes and stupid situations.
Players are in a hurry – when there is no clear understanding that raids are a timing mechanism, then problems begin. Often, all the behavior of bosses comes down to cycles – certain situations after which they apply certain skills, and if you know at what point the boss will disappear from view, you can calculate your most explosive attacks at the time of his appearance, and not disappearance.
Key to a successful raid
Every raid needs to be thought through, even if you don’t know what awaits you inside – ad hoc development should be combined with comfortable cooperation between all members of the group so that everyone knows their role and has a plan of action in a given situation.
If the tank dies – the healer knows what to do, if the healer dies, there should always be a character who will take care of his resurrection without any command or assignment.
You need to clearly understand that all the monsters that are spinning under the boss’s feet must be destroyed as quickly as possible – they can damage the tank, interfere with the actions of attacking classes, heal the boss, or impose negative effects. Having cleared the retinue, you will notice how much faster and more pleasant it will be to farm the boss.
