President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt while discussing UAE-Egypt Relations, emphasized that ties have become more firmly established in light of the understanding, fraternity, and consensus between Egypt and the UAE.
He added that the relationships between the two nations have always stood out because they are founded not only on sentiments of love, brotherhood, and true friendship, but also on an accurate understanding of regional and global developments, the integration and growth of cooperation, and shared interests that give the strength and sustainability of the relationship over time.
The Egyptian President commented on Wednesday as he welcomed guests to Cairo’s Egypt and UAE Are One Heart festivities marking the 50th anniversary of Egypt-UAE relations. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi are the event’s patrons.
El Sisi stated that despite having different presidents and governments, the relationships between the two nations “remain a role model for the distinguished links between the brotherly Arab countries.”
He said, “Understanding and consistent visions with the leaders of the UAE is a source of pride in Egypt, starting with the great Founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his famous historic declaration during the 6th October War: “Arab oil is not dearer than Arab blood”, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates.
In his conclusion, the president noted that “economic and investment cooperation in all fields, generally, are at the highest level between the two countries and future prospects for comprehensive collaboration are positive and progressing”. Mr. President was much optimistic about strengthening UAE-Egypt Relations.
