Emirates Airlines has resumed service to Argentina after two years

Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, the UAE ambassador to the Argentine Republic, met with Salem Obaidallah, the senior vice president of commercial operations for Emirates’ Americas region, to discuss the resumption of Emirates Airlines’ service to Argentina beginning on November 2, 2022, following a two-and-a-half-year hiatus brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The National Institute for Tourism Promotion’s Oscar Suarez, Director of International Markets, Paola Tamborelli, Director of Civil Aviation, and Ramiro Ordoqui, Undersecretary for Economic Negotiations, were also present at the conference.

In this context, Al Qamzi emphasized that Emirates Airlines’ return to Argentina would promote travel, business, and investment between the two nations.

He added that it would facilitate simple travel for investors, businesspeople, and tourists, which would assist to maximise the huge potential of the two nations.

He said that commerce between the two nations had grown significantly during the previous year, surpassing $1.11 billion and that Emirates Airlines’ operations would resume boosting economic and trade growth. Mr. Saeed is much optimistic about further strengthening the strategic alliances.

Obaidallah responded by confirming Emirates’ plans to run four weekly flights to Buenos Aires through Rio de Janeiro, giving travelers in Argentina and Brazil direct access to popular business and vacation spots in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
