A spokeswoman for Downing Street stated: “This afternoon, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak talked with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders discussed the UK and UAE’s effective defense, trade, and diplomatic engagement based on long-standing connections.
The two sides discussed measures to strengthen their bilateral relations in a number of areas, including economic development, during the call. Additionally, they discussed a number of pertinent national and international concerns.
“The leaders addressed ways to deepen our economic connections further, particularly in the areas of energy and clean technology, and the prime minister praised work on the UAE-UK Sovereign Investment Partnership.
