What time zone is used in Dubai?

The UAE’s time zone is known as United Arab Emirates Standard Time (UAEST). It is determined by Gulf Standard Time, which is 4 hours ahead of GMT/UTC (UTC+04:00) and coincides with Oman. The United Arab Emirates does not observe daylight saving time.

*Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is often interchanged or confused with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). But GMT is a time zone and UTC is a time standard. *
