For “Hayya cardholders” going to Doha for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has issued the first 90-day multiple-entry tourist visa.
Jordanian football fan Mohammed Jalal is the initial holder of the visa.
This falls under the umbrella of the UAE’s support for the State of Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022 by hosting guests and granting them multiple entry and exit visas for the duration of the visa’s validity.
According to Lt. General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA, Qatar is anticipated to welcome 1.4 million tourists from November 21, 2022, to December 18, 2022, during the World Cup.
He continued by saying that the GDRFA had finished its planning to offer a package of exceptional services to football fans and those wishing to take part in New Year’s Eve festivities in Dubai.
Arrivals may obtain visas prior to entering the nation, and they may shuttle frequently between Dubai and Doha for matches on a daily basis, he continued.
